Gemstone Twists

These hollows are embellished with a color changing twistie,  a technique I first learned from Leah Fairbanks. These beads were in a Bead Dreams exhibition sponsored by Bead and Button.

mirrored rainbow hollow

This bead is featured in Creating Glass Beads. The bead is made on a puffy mandrel and then the interior of the bead is mirrored, which makes it bright and reflective (and hard to photograph!).

This hollow bead is a single color, masked and sandblasted with a dot pattern. The interior is mirrored, which gives it an appearance of great depth.
